It was a pretty quiet Valentine's weekend around here--but that's okay. T and I traded favorite chocolate treats, rented a cute romantic movie ("Ghost Town") and lazed around. I didn't really feel the need to go out to dinner ... not big on crowds.But, I did take advantage of the holiday to celebrate all-things-pink-and-red and practice a little self-love by splurging on some new jammies. I decorated the mantel with some vintage Valentine's cards, my hand-sewn hearts (love the rose print upholstery fabric samples) and other ephemera. (See right). Ahhh... nothing beats the plain white/gray blahs of January than a jolt of passionate pinks and reds. Plus, I can face any business trip with a pair of cute little jammies in my suitcase.
