Light My Fire

A week ago, K had his big public debut as a rocker. He was in two bands that performed for a LIVE audience, as part of a finale for the Summer Rock Camp program. And, actually, they really did pretty good. Of course, I had to capture it all on video. You can see clips from both bands' performances here. T and LB joined me to capture the experience live. It was great fun.

There were about 7 bands in all. I was pleasantly surprised to see some olds friends with kids, nephews, etc. that were performing. All of the kids did their best to look the part. I guess I just hadn't realized how many of us dream (at an early age or not :-) of being in a rock band.

Hmmm ... I'm thinking of going Goth-rock for Halloween. Can you dig it?
