"In the spring I have counted one hundred and thirty-six different kinds of weather inside of four and twenty hours." ~Mark Twain
Amen, Mr. Twain. This was one of those weeks, weather-wise ... which isn't really unusual for our fish bowl spot in Ohio, but I think everyone around here could agree that enough is enough, all ready. On Tuesday, we opted for an after-hours work outing at the new Huntington Park (Columbus Clippers). Only Mother Nature opted for a little more winter, then spring (in the form of rain), then a glimpse of sun, then more rain. All in the course of three innings. That's when we opted out. Umbrellas, winter coats and all. But, hey, we had GREAT seats!
Today, the temps hit the high 70s, bringing a summer day filled with sunshine and--as the old song says--"nothing but blue sky." That was all I needed to break out my flip flops. G'bye socks. Hello summer sandals and pretty toenails!
